The Génepy of the Val D'Ayas, small and precious mountain herbs belonging to the Artemisia genus. They grow during the summer at an altitude of about 1700 meters and their habitat consists of morainic soils at the foot of the glaciers along the entire western Alpine arc. There are various species of Genepy with their unmistakable scent, they are very aromatic and have a high concentration of active ingredients that have a powerful neurotonic action on the digestive tract in humans.

With these plants you can make the famous Aosta Valley drink yourself by following the recipe attached to the package.

Two liters of liqueur are prepared with each bag

RECIPE: put the contents of a bag (10gr) in 1 liter of 95 degrees alcohol, leave it to infuse for 40 days, then filter it.

Separately, prepare some syrup using 1.2 liters of hot water in which a variable quantity of sugar of 300/450 grams must be dissolved.

When the syrup has cooled, add everything, leave it for a few days and taste.
