    Pollen is a living food that affects humans in two key ways: growth and organic balance.
    It has long been used in natural medicine, especially as a nutritional supplement.
    Flower pollen is one of the richest substances nature has to offer. Found all over the world, it is not produced by bees like honey; it is simply collected by bees from flowers and is the raw material for the production of royal jelly.
    Considered the most perfect food on earth in terms of its complete range of nutrients, it is incredibly rich in essential elements for the body and therefore for life, providing what may be temporarily lacking. Furthermore, since it is the raw material for royal jelly, it is not surprising that it is a highly energy-dense food (approximately 285 kcal per 100 g). Each pollen grain is a biological unit containing everything necessary for life:
    - water, ranging from 12 to 20%;
    - proteins (average 20%), mostly in the form of amino acids (21 of the 23 known amino acids), many of which are essential amino acids;
    - sugars (glucose and fructose), 15%;
    - lipids (about 5%, variable content), most of which are essential fatty acids: 70% alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3), 3-4% linoleic acid (omega-6), and 16-17% monounsaturated and saturated;
    - mineral salts such as potassium, silicon, iron, magnesium, sulfur, chlorine, calcium, manganese, phosphorus, and copper;
    - a large number of vitamins, especially those from the B group (B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7, B8, B9, B12), vitamins A, C, D, E, K, and PP;
    - enzymes, coenzymes, growth hormones (estrogens, androgens, acetylcholine, and other substances with antibiotic activity), pigments such as carotenoids, anthocyanins, etc.
    How to consume pollen
    Pollen pellets are consumed by chewing them slowly and thoroughly. To avoid gastric acidity (not all organisms accept pollen readily), it is recommended to chew it thoroughly or dilute it with a warm drink (water or herbal tea).
    Pollen can also be consumed mixed with honey, jam, or yogurt. The recommended daily intake is approximately 15-20 g for adults (one level tablespoon) and 5-10 g for children for 1-3 months. The best time to consume it is in the morning on an empty stomach, before breakfast. It is recommended for convalescence, anemic patients (also due to its high copper content), children, the elderly, those with poor appetite, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and those suffering from physical and mental overwork.
    Store in a cool, dark place.
